What is libgenht1-dev
libgenht1-dev is:
Provides a simple interface for creating hash tables with arbitrary
key and value types. Ships with shared objects for standard table types.
This package contains the static library and header files used in
development.
There are three methods to install libgenht1-dev
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libgenht1-dev
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libgenht1-dev
How To Uninstall libgenht1-dev on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libgenht1-dev
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgenht1-dev
Uninstall libgenht1-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgenht1-dev
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgenht1-dev
Remove libgenht1-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libgenht1-dev
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgenht1-dev
Remove libgenht1-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgenht1-dev
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libgenht1-dev
