This C library supports TIFF 6.0 based interchange format for georeferenced
raster imagery. The GeoTIFF standard has been developed for reading, and
writing geographic meta-information tags on top of TIFF raster.
This package contains the shared library only.
There are three methods to install libgeotiff5
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libgeotiff5

sudo apt-get -y purge libgeotiff5
