What is libgnome-keyring-common
libgnome-keyring-common is:
gnome-keyring is a daemon in the session, similar to ssh-agent,
and other applications can use it to store passwords and other
sensitive information.
The program can manage several keyrings, each with its own master
password, and there is also a session keyring which is never stored to
disk, but forgotten when the session ends.
This package contains data files and translations for the GNOME keyring
library.
There are three methods to install libgnome-keyring-common

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libgnome-keyring-common
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libgnome-keyring-common
How To Uninstall libgnome-keyring-common on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libgnome-keyring-common
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgnome-keyring-common
Uninstall libgnome-keyring-common And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgnome-keyring-common
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgnome-keyring-common
Remove libgnome-keyring-common Configurations and Data
To remove libgnome-keyring-common
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgnome-keyring-common
Remove libgnome-keyring-common configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgnome-keyring-common
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libgnome-keyring-common
