What is libgpgmepp6
libgpgmepp6 is:
GpgME++ (aka GpgMEpp) is a C++ wrapper (or C++ bindings) for the
GnuPG project’s GPGME (GnuPG Made Easy) library.
This is the official upstream C++ binding for GPGME.
There are three methods to install libgpgmepp6
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libgpgmepp6
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libgpgmepp6
Install libgpgmepp6 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libgpgmepp6
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libgpgmepp6
How To Uninstall libgpgmepp6 on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libgpgmepp6
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgpgmepp6
Uninstall libgpgmepp6 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgpgmepp6
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgpgmepp6
Remove libgpgmepp6 Configurations and Data
To remove libgpgmepp6
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgpgmepp6
Remove libgpgmepp6 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgpgmepp6
