on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is libgradle-android-plugin-java
libgradle-android-plugin-java is:
The Android build system uses the Android Plugin for Gradle to support building
Android applications with the Gradle build toolkit. The plugin runs independent
of Android Studio so the plugin and the Gradle build system can be updated
independently of Android Studio. You can build your Android applications from
within Android Studio or from the command line on your machine or on machines
where Android Studio is not installed (such as continuous integration servers).
This package does not include gradle-experimental.jar because its dependencies
are hard to resolve in Debian.
To build an Android application using the plugin in Debian, install
android-debian-helper
and use the init.gradle provided by that package.
There are three methods to install libgradle-android-plugin-java
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

After updating apt database, We can install libgradle-android-plugin-java
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libgradle-android-plugin-java
How To Uninstall libgradle-android-plugin-java on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libgradle-android-plugin-java
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgradle-android-plugin-java
Uninstall libgradle-android-plugin-java And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgradle-android-plugin-java
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgradle-android-plugin-java
Remove libgradle-android-plugin-java Configurations and Data
To remove libgradle-android-plugin-java
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgradle-android-plugin-java
Remove libgradle-android-plugin-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgradle-android-plugin-java
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libgradle-android-plugin-java
