What is libh323-dbg
libh323-dbg is:
This package contains the shared and static debug version of the
OpenH323 library.
The OpenH323 project aims to create a full featured, interoperable,
Open Source implementation of the ITU H.323 teleconferencing protocol
that can be used freely by everybody. This protocol is most used for
Voice over IP (VoIP) conferencing.
There are three methods to install libh323-dbg on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libh323-dbg Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libh323-dbg using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libh323-dbg
Install libh323-dbg Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libh323-dbg using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libh323-dbg
Install libh323-dbg Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libh323-dbg using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libh323-dbg
How To Uninstall libh323-dbg on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libh323-dbg package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libh323-dbg
Uninstall libh323-dbg And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libh323-dbg and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libh323-dbg
Remove libh323-dbg Configurations and Data
To remove libh323-dbg configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libh323-dbg
Remove libh323-dbg configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libh323-dbg configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libh323-dbg
