What is plplot-driver-xwin
plplot-driver-xwin is:
PLplot is relatively small, portable, freely distributable, and is rich
enough to satisfy most users. It has a wide range of plot types including
line (linear, log), contour, 3D, fill, and almost 1000 characters
(including Greek and mathematical) in its extended font set. The package
is designed to make it easy to quickly get graphical output; only a
handful of function calls is typically required. For more advanced use,
virtually all aspects of plotting are configurable.
This package provides the X11 driver module for PLplot.
There are three methods to install plplot-driver-xwin on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install plplot-driver-xwin Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install plplot-driver-xwin using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install plplot-driver-xwin using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall plplot-driver-xwin on Kali Linux

To remove plplot-driver-xwin configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge plplot-driver-xwin
Remove plplot-driver-xwin configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove plplot-driver-xwin configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge plplot-driver-xwin
