What is policykit-1-doc
policykit-1-doc is:
PolicyKit is a toolkit for defining and handling the policy that
allows unprivileged processes to speak to privileged processes.
This package contains the API documentation of PolicyKit.
There are three methods to install policykit-1-doc
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install policykit-1-doc
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install policykit-1-doc

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install policykit-1-doc

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install policykit-1-doc
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install policykit-1-doc
How To Uninstall policykit-1-doc on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the policykit-1-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove policykit-1-doc
Uninstall policykit-1-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall policykit-1-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove policykit-1-doc
Remove policykit-1-doc Configurations and Data
To remove policykit-1-doc
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge policykit-1-doc
Remove policykit-1-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
