What is profnet-norsnet
profnet-norsnet is:
Profnet is a component of the prediction methods that make up the
Predict Protein service by the lab of Burkhard Rost. It provides the neural
network component to a variety of predictors that perform protein feature
prediction directly from sequence. This neural network implementation has
to be compiled for every different network architecture.
This package contains the neural network architecture for norsnet.
There are three methods to install profnet-norsnet on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install profnet-norsnet Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install profnet-norsnet using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install profnet-norsnetInstall profnet-norsnet Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install profnet-norsnet using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install profnet-norsnetInstall profnet-norsnet Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install profnet-norsnet using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install profnet-norsnet
How To Uninstall profnet-norsnet on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the profnet-norsnet package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove profnet-norsnet
Uninstall profnet-norsnet And Its Dependencies
To uninstall profnet-norsnet and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove profnet-norsnet
Remove profnet-norsnet Configurations and Data
To remove profnet-norsnet configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge profnet-norsnet
Remove profnet-norsnet configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove profnet-norsnet configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge profnet-norsnet
