What is puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core
puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core is:
Puppet lets you centrally manage every important aspect of your system using a

normally aggregated in different files, like users, cron jobs, and hosts,
along with obviously discrete elements like packages, services, and files.
The host_core module is used to manage host entries in a hosts file. For most
systems, the hosts file is located in /etc/hosts.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core
How To Uninstall puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core

To remove puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core
Remove puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge puppet-module-puppetlabs-host-core
