Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install qnifti2dicom on Kali Linux.
What is qnifti2dicom
qnifti2dicom is:
Nifti2Dicom is a conversion tool that converts 3D NIfTI files (and other
formats supported by ITK, including Analyze, MetaImage Nrrd and VTK)
to DICOM.
Unlike other conversion tools, it can import a DICOM file that is used
to import the patient and study DICOM tags, and allows you to edit the
accession number and other DICOM tags, in order to create a valid DICOM
that can be imported in a PACS.
This package contains the Qt5 GUI.
There are three methods to install qnifti2dicom on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install qnifti2dicom Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qnifti2dicom using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install qnifti2dicomInstall qnifti2dicom Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install qnifti2dicom using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install qnifti2dicomInstall qnifti2dicom Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qnifti2dicom using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install qnifti2dicom
How To Uninstall qnifti2dicom on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the qnifti2dicom package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove qnifti2dicom
Uninstall qnifti2dicom And Its Dependencies
To uninstall qnifti2dicom and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove qnifti2dicom
Remove qnifti2dicom Configurations and Data
To remove qnifti2dicom configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge qnifti2dicom
Remove qnifti2dicom configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove qnifti2dicom configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge qnifti2dicom
