What is soapysdr-module-xtrx
soapysdr-module-xtrx is:
XTRX is the smallest easily embeddable software-defined radio (SDR). It is
both affordable and high-performance. XTRX is designed to enable the next
generation of wireless solutions, from prototype to production.
This is an empty dependency package that pulls in the XTRX support module for
the default version of libsoapysdr.
There are three methods to install soapysdr-module-xtrx on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install soapysdr-module-xtrx Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install soapysdr-module-xtrx using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install soapysdr-module-xtrxInstall soapysdr-module-xtrx Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install soapysdr-module-xtrx using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install soapysdr-module-xtrxInstall soapysdr-module-xtrx Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install soapysdr-module-xtrx using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install soapysdr-module-xtrx
How To Uninstall soapysdr-module-xtrx on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the soapysdr-module-xtrx package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove soapysdr-module-xtrx
Uninstall soapysdr-module-xtrx And Its Dependencies
To uninstall soapysdr-module-xtrx and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove soapysdr-module-xtrx
Remove soapysdr-module-xtrx Configurations and Data
To remove soapysdr-module-xtrx configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge soapysdr-module-xtrx
Remove soapysdr-module-xtrx configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove soapysdr-module-xtrx configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge soapysdr-module-xtrx
