What is statserial
statserial is:
Statserial displays a table of the signals on a standard 9-pin or
25-pin serial port, and indicates the status of the handshaking lines.
It can be useful for debugging problems with serial ports or modems.
There are three methods to install statserial
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

How To Uninstall statserial on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the statserial
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove statserial
Uninstall statserial And Its Dependencies
To uninstall statserial
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove statserial
Remove statserial Configurations and Data
To remove statserial
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge statserial
