subtitleeditor is:
Subtitle Editor is a GTK+3 tool to edit subtitles. It can be used for new
subtitles or as a tool to transform, edit, correct and refine existing
subtitles.
This program also shows sound waves, which makes it easier to synchronise
subtitles to voices.

There are three methods to install subtitleeditor
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install subtitleeditor Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install subtitleeditor
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install subtitleeditor

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install subtitleeditor
using aptitude

How To Uninstall subtitleeditor on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the subtitleeditor
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove subtitleeditor

and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
