What is supercollider-dev
supercollider-dev is:
SuperCollider is an environment and programming language for real time
audio synthesis and algorithmic composition. It provides an interpreted
object-oriented language which functions as a network client
to a state of the art, realtime sound synthesis server.
This package contains the development files and headers.
There are three methods to install supercollider-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install supercollider-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install supercollider-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install supercollider-devInstall supercollider-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install supercollider-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install supercollider-devInstall supercollider-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install supercollider-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install supercollider-dev
How To Uninstall supercollider-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the supercollider-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove supercollider-dev
Uninstall supercollider-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall supercollider-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove supercollider-dev
Remove supercollider-dev Configurations and Data
To remove supercollider-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge supercollider-dev
Remove supercollider-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove supercollider-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge supercollider-dev
