What is sysuser-helper
sysuser-helper is:
sysuser-helper provides code, which actually perform actions
on system users on behalf of dh-sysuser package. This separation
allows packages take advantage of improvement or fixes in ‘dh-sysuser’
without rebuilding.
This package is implementation detail of ‘dh-sysuser’. It should
never be installed manually. No assumption about its content can
be made.
There are three methods to install sysuser-helper on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sysuser-helper Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install sysuser-helper using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install sysuser-helper using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install sysuser-helper using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install sysuser-helper
How To Uninstall sysuser-helper on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the sysuser-helper package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove sysuser-helper
Uninstall sysuser-helper And Its Dependencies
To uninstall sysuser-helper and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove sysuser-helper
Remove sysuser-helper Configurations and Data
To remove sysuser-helper configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge sysuser-helper
Remove sysuser-helper configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove sysuser-helper configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge sysuser-helper
