0ad-data is:
0 A.D. (pronounced “zero ey-dee”) is a free, open-source, cross-platform
real-time strategy (RTS) game of ancient warfare. In short, it is a
historically-based war/economy game that allows players to relive or rewrite
the history of Western civilizations, focusing on the years between 500 B.C.
and 500 A.D. The project is highly ambitious, involving state-of-the-art 3D
graphics, detailed artwork, sound, and a flexible and powerful custom-built
game engine.

There are three methods to install 0ad-data
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install 0ad-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install 0ad-data
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install 0ad-data
Install 0ad-data Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install 0ad-data
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install 0ad-data
Install 0ad-data Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install 0ad-data
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install 0ad-data
How To Uninstall 0ad-data on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the 0ad-data
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove 0ad-data
Uninstall 0ad-data And Its Dependencies
To uninstall 0ad-data
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove 0ad-data
Remove 0ad-data Configurations and Data
To remove 0ad-data
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge 0ad-data
Remove 0ad-data configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove 0ad-data
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge 0ad-data
