ADQL is a SQL-like language which includes astronomical facilities to
query a database. This language has been defined by the IVOA in the
Recommendation of 30 Oct 2008 (Version 2.0) and is mainly used in the
Table Access Protocol (TAP).

There are three methods to install adql-java-doc on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install adql-java-doc using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install adql-java-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install adql-java-doc
Install adql-java-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install adql-java-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install adql-java-doc
How To Uninstall adql-java-doc on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the adql-java-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove adql-java-doc
Uninstall adql-java-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall adql-java-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove adql-java-doc
Remove adql-java-doc Configurations and Data
To remove adql-java-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge adql-java-doc
Remove adql-java-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove adql-java-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge adql-java-doc
