AMIDE: (Amide’s a Medical Imaging Data Examiner)
AMIDE is a tool for viewing and analyzing medical image data sets.
It’s capabilities include the simultaneous handling of multiple data
sets imported from a variety of file formats, image fusion, 3D region
of interest drawing and analysis, volume rendering, and rigid body
alignments.

Amide imports most clinical DICOM files (using the DCMTK library).

There are three methods to install amide on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install amide Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install amide using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install amide
