on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is antlr4-maven-plugin
antlr4-maven-plugin is:
ANTLR (ANother Tool for Language Recognition) is a powerful parser generator
for reading, processing, executing, or translating structured text or binary
files. It’s widely used to build languages, tools, and frameworks. From a
grammar, ANTLR generates a parser that can build and walk parse trees.
This package provides the Maven plugin that supports compiling ANTLR 4
grammars during a Maven build.
There are three methods to install antlr4-maven-plugin
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install antlr4-maven-plugin Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install antlr4-maven-plugin
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install antlr4-maven-plugin
Install antlr4-maven-plugin Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install antlr4-maven-plugin
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install antlr4-maven-plugin
Install antlr4-maven-plugin Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install antlr4-maven-plugin
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install antlr4-maven-plugin
How To Uninstall antlr4-maven-plugin on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the antlr4-maven-plugin
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove antlr4-maven-plugin
Uninstall antlr4-maven-plugin And Its Dependencies
To uninstall antlr4-maven-plugin
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove antlr4-maven-plugin
Remove antlr4-maven-plugin Configurations and Data
To remove antlr4-maven-plugin
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge antlr4-maven-plugin
Remove antlr4-maven-plugin configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove antlr4-maven-plugin
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge antlr4-maven-plugin
