What is argonaut-server

argonaut-server is:

Client / server system for managing systems in collaboration with
FusionDirectory (LDAP directory manager). Argonaut also allows interface
with deployment tools such as FAI (Fully Automated Install) or OPSI (Open
PC Server Integration).

Install argonaut-server Using apt-get

Install argonaut-server Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install argonaut-server using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install argonaut-server

How To Uninstall argonaut-server on Ubuntu 20.04

To uninstall only the argonaut-server package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove argonaut-server

Uninstall argonaut-server And Its Dependencies

To uninstall argonaut-server and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove argonaut-server

Remove argonaut-server Configurations and Data

To remove argonaut-server configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge argonaut-server
