What is bacula-director-pgsql
bacula-director-pgsql is:
Bacula is a set of programs to manage backup, recovery and verification of
data across a network of computers of different kinds.
The Bacula Director service supervises all the backup, restore, verify and
archive operations. It can run as a daemon or as a foreground service which
administrators can use to schedule backups and recover files.
This package stores Bacula’s catalog in a PostgreSQL database and thus is
suited for large installations.
There are three methods to install bacula-director-pgsql
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install bacula-director-pgsql

Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install bacula-director-pgsql

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install bacula-director-pgsql

How To Uninstall bacula-director-pgsql on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the bacula-director-pgsql

To uninstall bacula-director-pgsql
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:

To remove bacula-director-pgsql
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge bacula-director-pgsql
Remove bacula-director-pgsql configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove bacula-director-pgsql
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge bacula-director-pgsql
