Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install haproxy-log-analysis
on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is haproxy-log-analysis
haproxy-log-analysis is:
haproxy log analysis can generate aggregate statistics from HAProxy logs in
the HTTP log format. This can be over a specific period, or over a subset of
the entries by specifying a filter.
This package contains the command line tool, haproxy_log_analysis. See
python3-haproxy-log-analysis for the library that this tool uses.
There are three methods to install haproxy-log-analysis
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install haproxy-log-analysis Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install haproxy-log-analysis
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install haproxy-log-analysis
Install haproxy-log-analysis Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install haproxy-log-analysis
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install haproxy-log-analysis
Install haproxy-log-analysis Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install haproxy-log-analysis
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install haproxy-log-analysis
How To Uninstall haproxy-log-analysis on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the haproxy-log-analysis
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove haproxy-log-analysis
Uninstall haproxy-log-analysis And Its Dependencies
To uninstall haproxy-log-analysis
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove haproxy-log-analysis
Remove haproxy-log-analysis Configurations and Data
To remove haproxy-log-analysis
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge haproxy-log-analysis
Remove haproxy-log-analysis configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove haproxy-log-analysis
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge haproxy-log-analysis
