What is libactivemq-protobuf-java
libactivemq-protobuf-java is:
Apache ActiveMQ is a message broker built around Java Message Service (JMS)

reliable, and asynchronous way.
“Protocol Buffers” are language-neutral, platform-neutral, extensible way of
serializing structured data for use in communications protocols

Java API. It comes with a built in proto file compiler and
Java source code generator (as a Maven plugin).
There are three methods to install libactivemq-protobuf-java on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libactivemq-protobuf-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libactivemq-protobuf-java using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libactivemq-protobuf-java
Install libactivemq-protobuf-java Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libactivemq-protobuf-java using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libactivemq-protobuf-java
Install libactivemq-protobuf-java Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libactivemq-protobuf-java using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libactivemq-protobuf-java
How To Uninstall libactivemq-protobuf-java on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libactivemq-protobuf-java package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libactivemq-protobuf-java
Uninstall libactivemq-protobuf-java And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libactivemq-protobuf-java and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libactivemq-protobuf-java
Remove libactivemq-protobuf-java Configurations and Data
To remove libactivemq-protobuf-java configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libactivemq-protobuf-java
Remove libactivemq-protobuf-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libactivemq-protobuf-java configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libactivemq-protobuf-java
