What is libargtable2-docs
libargtable2-docs is:
Argtable is an ANSI C library for parsing GNU style command line arguments.
It enables a program’s command line syntax to be defined in the source code as
an array of argtable structs. The command line is then parsed according to that
specification and the resulting values are returned in those same structs where
they are accessible to the main program. Both tagged (-v, –verbose, –foo=bar)
and untagged arguments are supported, as are multiple instances of each
argument. Syntax error handling is automatic and the library also provides the
means for displaying the command line syntax directly from the array of
argument specifications.
This package contains the documentation for the development libraries for the
libargtable2-dev package.
There are three methods to install libargtable2-docs on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libargtable2-docs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libargtable2-docs using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libargtable2-docs
Install libargtable2-docs Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libargtable2-docs using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libargtable2-docs
Install libargtable2-docs Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libargtable2-docs using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libargtable2-docs
How To Uninstall libargtable2-docs on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libargtable2-docs package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libargtable2-docs
Uninstall libargtable2-docs And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libargtable2-docs and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libargtable2-docs
Remove libargtable2-docs Configurations and Data
To remove libargtable2-docs configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libargtable2-docs
Remove libargtable2-docs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libargtable2-docs configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libargtable2-docs
