on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is libdeepboof-java
libdeepboof-java is:
DeepBoof is a Java library for running deep neural networks trained using
other projects (e.g. Torch and Caffe) with a focus on processing image data.
Additional tools include visualization and network training. Image processing
is done using BoofCV. While it has been designed to work with Torch and Caffe
it does not depend either library for its core functionality.
There are three methods to install libdeepboof-java
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libdeepboof-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update

How To Uninstall libdeepboof-java on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libdeepboof-java

and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libdeepboof-java
Remove libdeepboof-java Configurations and Data
To remove libdeepboof-java
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libdeepboof-java
Remove libdeepboof-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libdeepboof-java
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libdeepboof-java
