What is libzeitgeist-doc
libzeitgeist-doc is:
Zeitgeist is a service which logs the user’s activities and events (files
opened, websites visited, conversations hold with other people, etc.) and
makes the relevant information available to other applications.
It serves as a comprehensive activity log and also makes it possible to
determine relationships between items based on usage patterns.
Libzeitgeist is a client library to access and manage the Zeitgeist event
log from languages such as C and Vala.

There are three methods to install libzeitgeist-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libzeitgeist-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libzeitgeist-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libzeitgeist-doc
Install libzeitgeist-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libzeitgeist-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libzeitgeist-doc
Install libzeitgeist-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libzeitgeist-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libzeitgeist-doc
How To Uninstall libzeitgeist-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libzeitgeist-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libzeitgeist-doc
Uninstall libzeitgeist-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libzeitgeist-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libzeitgeist-doc
Remove libzeitgeist-doc Configurations and Data
To remove libzeitgeist-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libzeitgeist-doc
Remove libzeitgeist-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libzeitgeist-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libzeitgeist-doc
