What is libzipios++-dev
libzipios++-dev is:
Zipios++ is a java.util.zip-like C++ library for reading and writing Zip
files. Access to individual entries is provided through standard C++
iostreams. A simple read-only virtual file system that mounts regular
directories and zip files is also provided.
This package contains files needed for development with zipios++.
There are three methods to install libzipios++-dev
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libzipios++-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libzipios++-dev
using apt-get

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libzipios++-dev

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libzipios++-dev
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install libzipios++-dev
How To Uninstall libzipios++-dev on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libzipios++-dev
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libzipios++-dev
Uninstall libzipios++-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libzipios++-dev
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libzipios++-dev
Remove libzipios++-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libzipios++-dev
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libzipios++-dev
Remove libzipios++-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libzipios++-dev
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libzipios++-dev
